Australia Vs India - A Curtain Raiser Final today?

In today's match, Australia will take on India - Will this be a curtain raiser for the final?

Well, Aussies will rely heavily on its bouncers that will unsettle Indian batsman. This was tried during the last year WC T20. This will help Aussies in bowling yorkers to Indian batsman in its death overs. Aussies could not continue their merry run making ability against Bangladesh and this could be cause for concern.

The pitch looks glossy and after initial hiccups, will aid spin. Who ever wins the toss, will elect to bowl first. Both the team understands the strengthness and weakness of the opposition team, thanks to the IPL.

India has to play to its strength - 2 paceman, 3 spinners, and a barrage of part-time spinners. It is likely that Zaheer will come in for Praveen Kumar and Vinay will not have a look-in in the all important match for both the teams. India will look to open with Harbajhan Singh and I would not be surprised if Raina bowls atleast 2 overs, after the powerplay is complete.

India has a slight advantage of winning going into this match, as they would have understood the tactics of all the Aussie bowlers on view in the just concluded IPL. Again, all Indian batsman looks hungry as they are already in form. Aussie spinners will never be a threat to the Indian batsman.

Which ever teams bats first, the opposition should ensure that not more than 120 runs are given.

Let it happen today, the same way as you predicted yesterday's match
