Passenger Indians' misery ends

The one-sided tour, has at last ended.

Though India did make their 1st 300-plus score on this tour, this was not sufficient, it seems.

Breathless performance by Bairstow
England were asked to chase a mammoth 241 in 34 overs after a sequence of D/L adjustments, Bairstow battered an extraordinary 41 from just 21 balls, as Enland eased home with almost 2 overs to spare. Bairstow struck the fifth ball of his international career for six over midwicket, and added two more and a four for good measure, as England marched up the mountain to complete their third victory of the series and their eighth in ten international matches against India this summer.

When the 4th wicket fell at 166, Engalnd required another 80 from 54 balls. Bairstow's debut performance was speechless. He added an unconquered 80 runs with Bopara, who seemed to be relishing Indian attack these days.

Indians have tried lots of bowlers with lesser success. It is high time India thinks beyond Vinay Kumar, RP Singh, Sreesanth. They looked pedestrians in front of the debutants as well.

Batting has improved leaps and bounds with MSD showing the way in each of the the outings this series. This time Dravid, Kohli gave India and MSD the impetus to go for the kill in the late overs.

With this kind of bowling attack, MSD must be relieved that atlast the tour has ended. Duncan Fletcher's misery as a debutant for coach, has just begun. Will he last the full 4 years, remains to be seen.

The team failed both in batting and bowling in the tests, but in ODIs some batting form was seen. May be MSD started preparing for Champion League.

I thought the confidence shown by the Men in Blue were much better. The 0-3 result does not reflect the true picture in the ODI's.
