While it has been raining in the evenings during the lead-up to the Test and that while that have affected pitch preparation too, the injuries to the key players have also hampered the preparation to the Tests.

| Sreesanth all set to prove, again |
Laxman, is still not 100% fit after his epic innings about 3 days back. Will India take a risk in retaining him? Is Harbajhan fit enough and able to take on the mantle of leading strike bowler for India? Harbhajan Singh wasn't completely fit for the previous two series and that affected his bowling. Have his ailments healed and will we see a fully-fit Harbhajan bowl? The spinners on the bench don't seem to have convinced the management that they can be better than a half-fit Harbhajan. Is Sreesanth fully fit to take over from Ishant? All these really puts in a serious doubter for Indian's to steal the series with another win at Bangalore.

On the other hand, Bollinger is unlikely to play in this match. Without him, do Australia have the resources to take 20 wickets? or can do they have firepower to hustle the Indians, just like Bollinger did during the 1st test? Bollinger was a key man involved in the high drama tension on the fourth day... Will George, release the pressure and will that affect how the others operate? With these uncertainities, Aussies will not want to risk of dropping Marcus North. He may be handy as a bowler too, given the conditions...
But both teams have always found a way to stretch themselves and produce exciting contests - and Bangalore, weather permitting, should be no different.
